About Beiler's Penn Dutch Market

We're a local, family-owned market with the best selection of fresh produce, deli meats, cheeses, bulk foods, and baked goods in Uniontown, OH.

Located at 13160 Cleveland Ave NW #8089, Uniontown, OH 44685, Beiler's Penn Dutch Market operates as a specialty food store serving Uniontown in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Uniontown with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Ohio may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–7 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (330) 699-3433. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, beilersmarket.com.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 1,563 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded specialty food stores in Uniontown.

Unprofessional management and terrible issue resolution. On August 1st, I was overcharged at this store. The manager on duty acknowledged the error, apologized, and issued me an official refund receipt. However, the refund was never processed back to my credit card. I went back to the store multiple times to resolve this in person, only to be dismissed with excuses like "the person in charge isn't here" and told to wait or call them myself. I did call and of course the man who’s in charge was not available. Told me would call me back and guess what, no response. BIG SURPRISE! Since the co-owner/manager never took accountability or bothered to fix their own mistake, I had no choice but to file a dispute with my credit card company, which immediately resolved it. Looking through other reviews, it’s clear that management simply doesn't care when mistakes happen—maybe they think a small amount like $8 isn't worth their time. Most of the employees working there are great, and many are students; we completely understand that students can make minor mistakes, and that’s fine as long as management takes care of it. But leaving customers hanging like this over a small business issue is tota

Absolute terrible service. I’ve been going here since I was a child since I was at least five years old. I am 37. I didn’t appreciate being reprimanded for taking a completely rotten peach out of the basket that’s going to make it way more and switching it with one that wasn’t completely rotted and instead of reprimanding your customers do a better job of not selling completely rotted fruit. Everything is so incredibly expensive. I’m not gonna buy rotted fruits and vegetables. I set my basket down and I’m going elsewhere. This is why people don’t shop at local businesses when you’re treated like this I’ll go to Walmart where I can pick my fruit so it’s not rotted while you’re at it make sure you tell the old man to stop throwing the cantaloupes when all I did was gently pick up a peach and take out of basket for the same SIZE peach! Thanks for humiliating me at 10 o’clock in the morning in front of multiple other customers on a Saturday morning this place needs to close! Even the other customer walked out to me and said that was uncalled for.

Charming grocery store with delicious produce. They have different vendors selling jams, honey, maple and elderberry syrup, baked goods, hand bagged grain mixes, seasoning, frozen goods, refrigerated section, gorgeous produce, mushrooms, a well stocked deli and cheese cooler. The flowers outside looked very healthy and vibrant. They are not overpriced like some niche stores can be; the tomatoes and peppers especially taste straight from the garden.

Great for bulk baking items and fresh produce. Deli meats and cheeses are very reasonably priced. The down part of this store is how absolutely congested it gets. From the too small parking lot to the too small aisles you will feel claustrophobic. It’s mainly senior citizens who shop here, dozens at a time, which causes extremely long waits at the registers. Beiler’s should be aware of this and expand a bit and re-arrange. They want you to start the line in the middle aisle for all registers. This line gets ridiculous. So if you don't mind standing around for a bit to get through a crowded aisle or get to a register then I recommend coming here. But do not come here if you are looking to grab something fast.

I've been there a few times. I guess I go at the right time. I see some negative reviews and I do question if it's a family-owned store maybe they need to get staff that is more trained to deal with the public and to make the store bigger. They've been there for a long time I think they can afford it. I hope the owners are reviewing the feedback from the public and do something about it. I have recommended people to go there. If you're locally owned and you want to hold on to your store make sure that your employees are trained in produce and your deli area. I don't like to hear the people buy things and then it's moldy the next day. That would discourage me as a customer but other than that I think it's a great place
